Description: Basic conversational Japanese and survival vocabulary for living in Japan are taught in an easily understood format. In addition this program looks at the differences between English and Japanese grammar and problem areas English teachers will come across in class.
Outline: Greetings, numerals, transport, giving and receiving, requests, permission. Grammatical use of English articles and Japanese particles, as well as sentence construction are covered.
Duration: Six months.
