Description: This seminar covers the appropriate steps people need to take in order to deal with the differences between Australian and Japanese culture. Participants are made to step back and view the cultures from both an Australian and a Japanese perspective. This workshop is very relevant for Australian managers & families dealing with Japan , or Japanese managers & families dealing with Australians.
Outline:Cultural awareness, harmony and understanding, language & different thinking in Japanese and English, plus verbal and non-verbal communication. On completion participants are able to understand how culture moulds the way people think and work, are able to apply the necessary skills to deal with and build up relationships with people from a 'different' culture.
Duration: One day workshop OR this subject can be incorporated into the Japanese for Living in Japan Course.
